Violin rental for solo performance and competition
Why rent with us
We rent violin, viola, cello, and double bass for beginners. Rental instruments suit young players who need a different size each year.
Having a quality instrument at home helps students progress faster. We focus on well-made instruments, European wood where applicable, and fit each rental with synthetic-core strings.
High-quality instruments respond more easily and sound more pleasing, so students enjoy practising longer. Bravo Music also offers handmade violins, violas, cellos, and basses for rent—premium options at higher rates than basic factory instruments.
Renting a fine instrument first is a good way to experience quality before you buy.
Violin rental for beginners (children)
Children’s beginner violin rental
- Basic violin: 299 THB/month (minimum 3 months) · deposit 3,000 THB
- European wood violin: 599 THB/month (minimum 3 months) · deposit 6,000 THB

Notes
Rental fees exclude bow, rosin, and accessories. For COVID-19 hygiene, customers purchase their own.
Viola rental for beginners (children)
Children’s beginner viola rental
- Basic viola: 500 THB/month (minimum 3 months) · deposit 5,000 THB

Price covers the viola and case only.
Small violin for students (Bravo students only)
600 THB/month · deposit 3,000 THB (instrument value 17,000 THB). Violin with case. Back: figured maple. Fingerboard: ebony. Strings: Tonica / Warchal. Sizes 1/16 – 3/4.
Terms
- Rent paid can count toward a new violin purchase, up to 15% of the instrument price.
- Deposit refunded when the instrument is returned. You must fit new strings before return. Damage may be deducted for repair at our workshop’s assessment; strings are replaced on return.
Small cello for students (Bravo students only)
1,200 THB/month · deposit 20,000 THB. Cello with bag. Back: figured maple. Fingerboard: ebony. Strings: Thomastik Infeld Spirit (customer replaces strings before return). Sizes 1/10 – 4/4.
Terms
- Rent paid can count toward a new cello purchase, up to 15% of the instrument price.
- Same deposit and return rules as the educational violin programme (new strings before return; damage assessed by our workshop).
Daily concert rental (4/4)
- European violin (concert, per day): 3,000 THB/day
- European viola (concert, per day): 3,000 THB/day
- European cello (concert, per day): 5,000 THB/day
- European double bass (concert, per day): 6,000 THB/day
- Harp (concert, per day): 15,000 THB/day
- Transport in Bangkok: from 3,000 – 10,000 THB
Notes
Prices include case or bag but exclude bow. Shipping not included. Renter collects at our office, signs the rental agreement, and pays the instrument deposit.
Rental for advertising & filming
5,000 THB per instrument per day for any instrument used in advertising or filming.
Collect at our office in person, sign the guarantee agreement, bring a copy of your ID, and pay the deposit on the contract day.
Deposit per instrument:
- Violin: 4,000 THB
- Viola: 6,000 THB
- Cello: 30,000 THB
- Double bass: 30,000 THB
